In the heart of Chianti Classico region, half way between Florence and Siena, near the medieval village of San Donato in Poggio, Sonia, Pierluigi, Fabio and Laura place at your disposal the two apartments obtained from the recent restoring of an old barn. From the top of the hill where it is located, the view is breathtaking. The property is partially surrounded by a wood of pine trees and oaks that offer you cool places during the hot summer and partially surrounded by olive trees and vineyards that boasts spectacular colours during the autumn.
Both apartments have been restored using traditional Tuscan styles and materials. The floors are of hand-made “terracotta” tiles and the ceilings have beams and flat tiles.
The owners live in the old ex farmer house and they will be delighted to receive their guests  in a very informal and friendly manner, so that they may enjoy a pleasant and relaxing stay.
There is also a swimming-pool and an open space equipped with barbecue.
The location is very easy to reach since the speed way Florence- Sienna is just a few kilometres far away. In the close village of San Donato you may have dinner in one of the 4 restaurants, drink cappuccino in one of the two bars, you have access to an internet point, you may rent a bike and  from June to September you may eat a very good and cheap pizza at Polisportiva, the volunteer football organization of the village.

IL TRAMONTO
It includes a wide living room embellished by a wooden lintel, with a characteristic fireplace and kitchen, a double room, a room with two single beds (which can be paired off, if desired), and a bathroom with shower and washing machine. A further bed can be added, if required. Outside there is a large threshing-floor with table and chairs.
