Wine tours
Tuscany is a region famous for its wines, in particular reds. Most of them are of great prestige and universal fame like "Brunello di Montalcino", "Nobile di Montepulciano" and “Chianti Classico” produced in the hills and bottled by the Sangiovese vineyards. Not to forget to mention the “Sassicaia” wine which has been produced in Bolgheri area, very close to the sea. Sassicaia was the real first Supertuscan wine appeared on the wine market. Today every winery has its own Supertuscan.
Although Tuscany is well known for its red wines, there is an important great white wine called "Vernaccia of San Gimignano", the first Italian wine that in 1996 received the D.O.C. quality recognition.
If you want to learn more about wine, just choose the area you prefer to visit, and we will be delighted to arrange wine tastings with our sommelier Francesco Sarri.
We organize private tours with a minimum of 2 persons to a maximum of 8 persons in order to offer a high quality service. We do not indicate the names of the wineries because they can vary depending on periods and availability of executive management. We guarantee the absolute quality of all the wineries we visit, some of which are cited in the most important international wine guides. At least 15 days before the visit we will communicate the names of them and more detailed information.
We will pick you up in Florence or Sienna by car or private minivan with private driver. If you come by your own car, prices are reduced for you.
